Nowstep is built by TigerBrands Global. This page is the official privacy policy for the Nowstep Android app and its related web content.

The short version

• Nowstep does not require an account or login.
• Your routines, steps, and timer data are stored locally on your device.
• Nowstep does not show ads and does not sell your personal data.
• Nowstep uses limited analytics in the Android app to measure app usage and reliability, but not the text of your routines or steps.

What data stays on your device

Nowstep stores the routines and steps you create, timer state, and related app preferences directly on your device. This local app content is not sent to TigerBrands Global through the app.

Voice guidance uses your device's built-in text-to-speech features. Nowstep does not record your voice.

Analytics and technical data

The Android version of Nowstep uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect limited app usage and technical event data such as app opens, sessions, app version, device and operating system information, approximate country, and similar analytics needed to understand app usage and improve performance.

Nowstep is configured not to send the text of your routines, step names, notes, or other user-entered content to analytics. No advertising ID is used for this analytics setup.

Purchases

Nowstep may offer optional paid features through Google Play. Payments are processed by Google Play under Google's own terms and privacy policy. TigerBrands Global does not receive or store your card number or full billing details. The app may receive purchase status or entitlement confirmation from Google Play so paid features can be unlocked.

Permissions and connections

Nowstep does not request location access. Network connections may be used for Google Play billing and Firebase Analytics in the Android app. Routine content itself is intended to remain local to your device.

Data sharing

TigerBrands Global does not sell your personal data. Limited analytics data may be processed by Google as Firebase and Google Play service providers. Payment data is handled by Google Play.

Children's privacy

Nowstep is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Because your routine content is stored locally on your device, its protection depends in part on your device security and operating system protections.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
