Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dopamodoro Chrome extension and Android app (together, the "Service"), provided by TigerBrandsGlobal ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using Dopamodoro, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance
By installing, accessing, or using Dopamodoro, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Dopamodoro is a Pomodoro-style focus timer and task organizer. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We may discontinue the Service entirely with reasonable notice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Dopamodoro. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
4. Free and Pro tiers
Dopamodoro offers a free tier with full core functionality and an optional Pro tier with additional features. Pro features may change at any time.
Pro subscription: Pro is offered as a recurring subscription. Pricing, billing frequency, and the included features are shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date through the relevant store (Google Play for Android, PayPal for the Chrome extension).
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your store account (Google Play or PayPal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
Free trial: If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Service except as permitted by applicable law
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent payment for Pro features
- Use the Service to harass, harm, or deceive others
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service
- Use automated systems to interact with the Service in a way that exceeds normal human use
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including the Dopamodoro name, logo, design, source code (where not open-source), and all related materials, is owned by TigerBrandsGlobal and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of all content you create using Dopamodoro (your tasks, notes, journal entries, etc.). Because this content is stored only on your device, you maintain full control of it at all times.
7. Disclaimers
Dopamodoro is not medical advice. The Service is designed for productivity and focus and is positioned for users who identify with ADHD-style focus challenges. It is not a medical device, not a treatment for ADHD or any other condition, and not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. If you need clinical support, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TigerBrandsGlobal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, productivity, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Because all your data is stored on your device, we cannot recover data lost due to device failure, uninstallation, or accidental deletion. We recommend periodically using the Export feature to back up your journal.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TigerBrandsGlobal from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling Dopamodoro. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you materially violate these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted for at least 30 days. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which TigerBrandsGlobal is established. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where local consumer protection law grants you stronger rights.
