1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the ConvertIQ Chrome Extension ("Extension") or accessing this website ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use ConvertIQ.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and the operator of ConvertIQ ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

ConvertIQ is a Chrome browser extension that analyzes the conversion rate optimization (CRO) quality of web pages using artificial intelligence provided by OpenAI. The Extension extracts text and structural data from pages you actively choose to analyze and returns a scored audit with recommendations.

ConvertIQ is designed for use on public-facing marketing pages, primarily SaaS landing pages, pricing pages, and trial signup flows.

3. Data Usage

ConvertIQ does not require you to provide any personal API key. By using ConvertIQ:

• You acknowledge that your page analysis requests are processed by OpenAI
• You agree to comply with OpenAI's Usage Policies and Terms of Service

4. Free and Pro Plans

4.1 Free Plan

The Free plan allows up to 5 CRO audits per day at no charge. Free plan features include the overall CRO score, letter grade, verdict, and top 3 ranked issues with fixes. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits with reasonable notice.

4.2 Pro Plan

The Pro plan ("Pro") is a paid subscription at $19 per month (or as otherwise stated at time of purchase). Pro subscribers receive unlimited daily audits and access to the full audit breakdown, quick wins, copy rewrites, and A/B test hypotheses.

Subscriptions auto-renew monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months, but we will issue a refund if you contact us within 7 days of your initial purchase and are unsatisfied.

4.3 Plan Changes

We reserve the right to change plan pricing and features with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ConvertIQ only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must NOT use ConvertIQ to:

• Analyze pages without authorization from the page owner where applicable
• Extract, scrape, or harvest personal data from pages you analyze
• Analyze pages containing sensitive personal information (health records, financial data, government IDs, etc.)
• Circumvent, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the Extension's code or licensing mechanisms
• Use the Extension in any way that violates OpenAI's Usage Policies
• Resell, redistribute, or create derivative works of ConvertIQ without written permission
• Use automated tools to trigger analysis (the Extension is designed for human-initiated use only)
• Attempt to access another user's subscription data or audit results
• Use ConvertIQ for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

6. Intellectual Property

ConvertIQ, its code, design, trademarks, and all associated intellectual property are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension for its intended purpose.

The AI-generated audit results you receive are provided for your own use in improving your web pages. We do not claim ownership of pages you analyze or recommendations generated based on your pages.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

ConvertIQ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times
• The CRO analysis or recommendations will improve your conversion rates
• The AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation
• The Extension will be compatible with all versions of Chrome or all websites

CRO recommendations are AI-generated suggestions, not guaranteed outcomes. Marketing results depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ConvertIQ or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities — arising from your use of or inability to use the Extension, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of ConvertIQ shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ConvertIQ and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Extension in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any third-party rights; or (c) your violation of any applicable laws.

10. Third-Party Services

ConvertIQ relies on OpenAI's API to generate CRO analysis. We are not responsible for OpenAI's service availability, pricing changes, or policy changes. If OpenAI discontinues or significantly changes its API, ConvertIQ may be affected. We will notify users and offer pro-rated refunds if the Pro service becomes materially unavailable.

ConvertIQ is distributed via the Chrome Web Store. Google's terms apply to installation and distribution. We are not affiliated with Google.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to ConvertIQ at any time if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to other users or to the service. You may stop using ConvertIQ at any time by uninstalling the Extension.

Upon termination, locally stored data (cached results) remains on your device until you clear it. Subscription obligations for the current billing period survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable in your region.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the extension update notes or this website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, please uninstall the Extension and contact us for a pro-rated refund if applicable.
